Barn Quilt Block!!
If you haven't been by lately, we wanted to show you the latest addition to Nelson's Landing. It is called a Barn Quilt Block! This is a project that was started back in 2001 by Donna Sue Groves in Kentucky. There are now over 3,000 Quilt Blocks displayed on outdoor structures in the American Quilt Trail Movement. This particular block pattern is called the Carpenter's Wheel and consists of Desert Glow Yellow, Cordon Bleu, Pavilion Beige, Red Geranuim, and Pacific Pine colors. You can check out more information on Barn Quilts at www.barnquiltinfo.com or if you'd like to see more of the Barn Quilts around this area you can check out the Kansas Flint HIlls Quilt Trail infomation at www.travelks.com/flint-hills! Thank you Sue Hageman for doing such a wonderful job on our quilt block! We love it!
